Detailed description of Mcconnellsville Golf Club

Mcconnellsville Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Mcconnellsville, New York. In 1967 plans were formulated for an additional nine holes when sixty-five acres of land became available through a generous donation by the Harden Family. The design was created by Pete Grygiel and Frank Clark and construction was completed in the latter part of 1969.

This is a hilly course with narrow, hardwood tree-lined fairways. The greens are undulating and a few are elevated above the fairway. There are sand bunkers protecting the greens and also on the fairways. There is one pond that comes into play on one hole.

Blue tees: par-70, 6,322 yards

White tees: par-70, 6,066 yards

Red tees: par-72, 5,445 yards

Amazing course

Would travel: 20-30 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

The course was in excellent shape when we played it; however, it was hot with a devastating wind storm which destropyed more than 200 treees on one of the nines. I doubt I would play it again. It is too bad, because I enjoyed the course immensely.
